Lori Dao, MD, is a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismologist dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of eye misalignment and double vision in both children and adults at the Adult Strabismus Institute in Plano, Texas. She offers comprehensive care designed to restore eye alignment, improve function, and enhance confidence. Whether prescribing prism lenses, performing advanced techniques in strabismus surgery, or guiding rehabilitation after surgery, Dr. Dao focuses on restoring comfortable, functional binocular vision. Dr. Dao earned her medical degree and completed her residency in ophthalmology at UT Southwestern in Dallas. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas/UT Southwestern. With over a decade of experience in the field, Dr. Dao has become a trusted name in adult strabismus. She has been selected to the D Best list by her peers since 2016.
